I have a b16a swap with OBD0 in my 90 CRX. It has a P30 ECU and is throwing a code for the knock sensor. Could it be that the motor doesn't even have a knock sensor, but the computer thinks it does, so is throwing the CEL? If it does have the knock sensor....where is it located, because I can't seem to find it on the side of the block.

it does have a knock sensor and it is located i believe on the pass side right underniethe the IM

 

If you have a p30 then your car is obd1...you should look to make sure the knock sensor wire was added and pinned into the ecu pins,then look to make sure the wire is ran to the engine bay and pluged into the knock sensor...
