I'm replacing my exhaust but what's the best muffler I can use for a 2.5'' exhaust on a '94 GSR?

I want a muffler almost quiet & smooth @ low rpms yet when I pop Vtec, you can hear it but not hear it like a fart can @ high rpms...

ya hytech would probably be the best. i have a magnaflow muffler on my setup and i love the sound. its a straight through unit and it sounds deep and mean at low rpms and screams up high. i have no problems daily driving with it but i also have a 22" resonator

I started researching the mufflers advised to me and I gotta say, I'm getting pretty attached to the hy tech twin loop qualities. Thanks you guys for the tips. I already sent an email to hy tech to get my hands on one. I'll let yall know how it goes.

Cheaper alternative is the stainless magnaflow mufflers in the oval style. They are usually pretty deep and quiet, otherwise a thermal would be a good bet although they are uncommonly similair to the magnaflow...

haha too true everyone has their own tastes on these things. Personally I don't think there's a "best" but alot of really good ones, thermal magnaflow, hytech, ws2, basically most oval based mufflers sound great opposed to straight through canister styles.

yeah but if you had a super 90 degree angle canister and burns on your bumper you could have easily out ran the cop because of the supreme straight through design.

you guys cant read. he's asking for a muffler with a 2.5'' inlet. half of the mufflers named so far are smaller than that.

And no it's not a Mugen twin loop or any other but I'll let yall know with pix and maybe a vid. Again thanx for all open opinions.
