Default A question for thoes with aftermarket or non stock intake manifolds

I've got a limited amount of room behind my jdm h22 and I would like to know which intakes would be the same size or shorter.

I plan on keeping this thing NA so I dont know if its even worth getting a diffrent one than stock...do the aftermarket ones flow better?

At most this engine will see is cams, header, tuned ecu. if that helps.

Thanks

the euro R intake mani will fit, its the same size as the stock mani but the euro r mani have no butterflies and you will gain power off of this mani.

I had the same problem as you i have the 22 in my eg.

i could fit a skunk 2 mani in but i would have to move the brake lines around.

why not just send yours to blacktrax that way it will be the same sizeand they can mod it for you and tell you what would be best for your application.

Ditto that! Talk to Nat or Jai @ BlackTrax. They will use a Stock IM so fitment will not be an issue.
BLACKTRAX
This is one they did for me last year! I love it!

What do they do to yours?

Pic is sorta dark but is that a stock one or a euro mani?

Is it pretty much just a port and polish?

Sorry, shitty camera phone.....
Stock USDM IM with removed IABs and added stacking plate to support my powerband. Port and polished smoother internal chamber and port match for a 70mm TB.
I just had them paint it black to be different......NAT@BlackTrax likes to paint things black......Awesome customer service with them....fast turnaround time.
