Absolutely. The brakes are probably the single best attribute of the R, so why not keep them working the way they do when they're young.

Hey bud, he was talking about the clutch master, not brake master.
As far as finding a rebuild kit.... Good luck.
I needed to rebuild mine a month ago. There were not ANY parts stores that had the kit or could order it (NAPA, Autozone, Advance, Oreilly's, Honda)
I ended up ordering a new one from Baranco. It wasn't as expensive as I thought it was going to be. Hint * when ordering on-line, get the smaller cotter pin, not the larger one (it shows 2 but does not tell which one you need). If you need the part # I have it at my house.

most of the parts to requild a clutch master cylinder are the same ones that can be used to rebuild brake master cylinders.
Since it's been officially banned to sell brake MS rebuild kits (liability issue, think about it) it's going to be VERY difficult to find parts to rebuild a clutch MS.
It will be a ton easier and quicker to simply pick up a new or used one.

Ooops.
It's Friday and hot as hell here in NC.
I'd have to agree, $60-70 IIRC for a new CMC is not a bad price and an easy switch.
