Default IAT SENSOR RESISTOR

Does anyone know if that resistor that is being sold really works? It supposedly fits somewhere in the IAT SENSOR and doesn't couse any damage. Can anyone tell me the truth?

Default Re: IAT SENSOR RESISTOR (bluelude2.3)

it fools the computer into thinking that the incoming air is cooler than it is, and dumps more fuel into the cyl. Thats about all it does. The extra fuel, if you dont have any mods, probably wont help you any, and if there is too much extra might damage your converter, or your O2 sensor.
