Default Faded stuff on DC4

The headlights are really dark and yellow, today I will be taking the bumper off and wet sanding them. Ill do a write up for it. Also my CF hood is extremely faded. What should I do about this. Should I wet sand it and then just paint a clear coat on it? Not sure what to do with it. It looks pretty bad in the middle towards the corners it looks real nice and clear of the CF. Let me know guys thanks alot.

Do the same thing to your hood as you are doing to the headlights. Cut and buff to shine. Have the hood recoated with clear if you want. There was a thread here where a guy got a second hand CF hood, if was faded bad. He cut and buffed it and it came out great.

well today i painted my wheels with Alexander the great cause the owner had some shitty wheels that where rusting and they looked ugly as hell so the wheels look much nicer now. I didnt have time to do the lights today but I did wash the car and my friend suggested using Tire shine on the CF hood and it looks much better than the regular faded lol. Temporary solution for broke *** me. I cant buy wheels so i painted mine and it looks awesome! For real.
I did have some bad luck after I washed my car and washed my engine bay (which was dirty as hell) my friend turned off my car and I like it runnin when there is water in the engine bay still since i dont have a air blower. I guess water seaped into the spark plug holes. I drove around and it was mis firing. So I stop and take of the plugs and look to find water in Cylinder 3. I go to start my car again and boom it didnt start. I dried up the water and it still didnt start. So I called my friend thats a great mechanic (sold the car to me) and he asked if there is spark so I checked and none! So I go and take my dizzy off, so far so good cap comes off nicely no stripped screws. Rotor comes off also no stripping and when I go to pull the rotor **** is frozen on. I used a flat head and nothing. I didnt want to break it. I tapped on it nothing either. I finally put some muscle into it and CRACK rotor shatters all over the place and the metal in the middle is still stuck on there. I went to work and my friend used a small pry bar hammer and some lube to hammer the bitch out. Bought me a new rotor and luckily I had 2 dizzy's at his house so I snagged a fresh coil pack from one. Put it all back onto the other dizzy wired it up put the rotor and cap. Go to the car spark plug wires and crossed my fingers and she fired up like a charm. I drove a round and it missed fire the first 5 minutes and finally it burned up all the water in Cylinder 3 and ran like a champ. I will change my plugs and oil tommorow just in case of anything.

Well I got a new update, ordered some 12K HIDs, and I get all ready to sand my headlights.
Well I sanded my first headlight with 1500 grit and looks much better slap the orbit polisher on and looks good as new. I go to sand the other headlight by picking up a new piece of sand paper. How this happened I am not sure how I didnt notice was probably because I was too excited to get done. I start wet sanding as the light hazes up slowly, I go to wipe and clean nicely and and notice it is very hazzy and scratched I said F- It and polished. Nothing no effect. I started freaking out and go by hand and polishing compound. No luck. I quickly pick up the sandpaper and read 320 FINE for priming! I WAS LIKE WTF! I cursed aloud and ended up ruining my day.
My HIDs come in and low and behold during inspection of the bulbs i notice a crack and a burn in one. Called the company to talk about they need pics and stuff. I explained to them I havent even touched them so were in the process that I need to send them the package back and pay for the shipping and then they resend me a new set. So far no luck. I have found a new set of lights for the TEG but the guy will sell me just one for $40 shipped and then he offered both for $50 so I guess for 10 dollars more wouldnt hurt a spare light.

I am working on Suspension as of now. Worrying about motor later. If you guys didnt know already the only mods I have on my car are JDM B16 trans(All that torque put to good use)
8mm MSD Spark Plug Wires
Generic CF Intake
I am looking for some LCAs, ASR Rear Subframce Brace and ITR sway bar. I know the the point of rear sway bar is for oversteer but what does a front sway bar. Another fellow HT member who is selling me the rear ITR sway bar has a front one also. What benefits will I have for a front sway bar?(Less understeer I am assuming)
Front what it looks is that I can see the diffrence in pictures alone from my stock 225k mile'd driven upon LS sway to a ITR sway. Mine looks like a rusted twig I can snap with my knee LOL.

My next questioning is how the hell to draw some more power from the B18B without Turbo. Like some mild cams with spring and retainers or some N20. I have made it much faster by switching the transmission alone HAHA but I still need more. This is my first car to have A/C and P/S which is wonderful cause last year I died in my gutted EK B18C-R. Looking for high 13s to mid 14s retaining atleast A/C. Been looking at turbo also but not satisfied with just going turbo like every other integra. Comments very welcome guys

as for the headlights its worth experiementing. I know you can bring clear back from a 600 grit sanding, but you've probably really scratched it up. Pick up some 800, 1000 then go back to your 1500. You might want to hit them with a rubbing compound, then a polish and glaze. Treat it like a body job. You want to make the scratches progressively smaller, until they're almost flat. Then you fill the remainder with a glaze.... Good luck

Well i fixed the headlights easily. Just drove 2 hours away and bought some new ones from a fellow HT member for dirt cheap thanks again. I this time sanded them with 1500 grit and then I polished them with the buffer and finally by hand. Installed my beautiful 12K Hids with em and walla good as new! I am loving the purple.

Anyone got info on the LS build or suspension. I am looking into some Power Slot rotors with Eibach springs on new struts. He explained to me they were 1.7 inch drop. Anyone have any input on this. He said he can work with something like $200 for Brand new Front and Rear Power Slot rotors, Eibach springs new on 2 new front struts and 2 rear used struts. Mind you that my rotors are gone and my front shocks are blown and the rears and probably also.
