Default GReddy boost gauge help..

Somebody is selling me a GReddy boost gauge used for about 6 mo.,or so i'm told. What I noticed as odd, was the when the gauge was disconnected, it was reading in vaccum as opposed to being zero'd. Does this indicate a malfuctioning gauge or is it my imagination? I always belived that like my AM boost gauge, all mechanical boost gauges would show 0 when disconnected, what do you guys think?

I am looking at my new Greddy Electronic Gauge and it is pointing all the way down (6 o'clock) in vaccum. BTW my guage is brand new, never used still in the box. hope this helps you out.

It should be pointing at the 6 o clock postiion.

WHen you turn the key twice, giving it 12 volts, it will jump to 0.
