Default New Radiator Question

I am in the middle of replacing my radiator, and purchased a new koyo OEM complete radiator to replace the one in my 90 prelude SI 4WS. It has manual transmission, and a 2.05 Liter engine. I got the old radiator out and compared it with the new one, and the new one has 2 transmission oil cooler connections on it that my old one doesn't have. Did I get the wrong radiator, or do I just leave the 2 connections as is, with plastic plugs over the ends? Will antifreeze come out of these connections, or is this a "second" closed system within the radiator? I checked online, and all the OEM radiators for this year seem to have those connections. Thanks for any help you can give me on this!

Im pretty sure you can just leave the plugs on the ends....I believe transmission fluid goes in and out of those , not antifreeze

Thanks for the info. I wondered if transmission oil might be what circulates through there, but didn't want to sound too dumb.... Anyway, I might hacksaw those connectors down to about 1/2 an inch and put the plastic plugs back on, as they stick way out. I managed to get the old radiator out without taking out the a/c or cooling fans, but I don't think I can get the new radiator back in with those fans still in there, and those connectors poking way out.

Those two connections are for Automatic transmissions.

You should be fine cutting some length off and capping them back up.
