I have been looking on ebay and found many different performance mod chips for my d16z6 vtech. They say this chip can increase horsepower. Has anyone ever tried these things???? What you guys think about it... Thanks in advance!!

 

It's a bunch of bull loney. Don't waste your money. Can't just drop in a chip and expect a performance gain. Don't you think the factory would have taken care of that in their ECU's?

If you want, have someone put a socket on your ECU and go get it tuned. But that probably won't do anything for you if you don't have other extensive mods.

Exactly!! All "chips" do is waste your gas. You want performance? Spend money on boltons and then grab yourself a vtec controller or be gangster and get a good type of engine management such as hondata, crome, etc. . . . YOu have more questions on these products just search. They are everywhere!!!
