i have a 91 civic si and i want to put the jdm ef8 bumper on my car. has anyone done this and how easy is it?

 

yeah, i'm sure it wont work. it wont bolt right up. headlights are different and civics have that filler piece

 

then fender are differnt as well i have a crx front clip on my 91 hatchback si but their are some modding that you have to do to make it look right

 

i dunno if ill actually try to do it but i think it would be cool, those bumpers look better i think. i had a crx hood on my other hatch and it was i dentical. thats why i was wondering if the bumper would fit on my civic.

 

i did this swap on my old hatch...

first the headlights are the same the cornerlenses are what is diffrent soo u need new corner lenses from a crx ...soo then u would need new fenders..but were the bottem of the crx fender touches the door there is that plastic piece you need to cut the bottom of the civic fender and weld it to the crx fender soo there is no more plastic...the hoods are the exact same...also the bracteks that hold the bumper support bar are diffrent soo you will need those off of a crx but the bracket will bolt up fine..i think that is it any other questions just ask...

btw i hated the filler piece on the hatch to soo thats why i did the swap it ended up looking really good
