My GS-R is now a pickup truck.
I don't know how this relates to the RSX, except that if my RSX was involved, I would now be divorced, but here goes......
My wife made me do some yard work, and I told her that we need about eight or ten bales of pine straw. I told her to call one of my friends with a truck.... then I get home from work the next day... and there is the GS-R in the driveway, hatchback open, with ten freakin' bales of pine straw in the back! She folded down the rear seat and loaded it up! On one level, I was inpressed with the cargo capacity, but come on, give me a break.
It took me almost 45 minutes to clean the inside of the car up after I regained consciousness. I should have taken a picture. And she wonders why I won't let her take the S by herself.

Explain to her that she did a great job helping, but the next time she should try to place a blanket on the floor of the trunk.

I am glad to see that others besides myself were somewhat bothered by this event.
However, I have to mention that she has chosen to drive the old GS-R rather than a newer car. My original plan was to sell my old Civic (which I did) and find a good deal on a CRV, in which she had shown interest.
However, when push came to shove she decided that she was not ready to be a "truck person" and that she wanted to keep her GS-R for a few more years because it is so much fun. Then I drove the RSX-S, which promptly ended any speculation about a CRV.......so really, the poor GS-R was destined for some continued abuse- it is really amazing how much stuff you can cram in the hatchback when you are motivated.
the teg's cargo capacity is very surprising... i was able to move in and out of college with that thing in 1 trip (aside from my bed and desk)... i'm talkin a 27" sony vega, two floor standing speakers, large subwoofer, receiver, cd changer, vcr, dvd player, computer, all my clothes and little knick knacks which take up a lot of boxes all while not having to disconnect my car stereo subwoofer box (2 - 10" polks). it was packed to the brim, but it still fit everything. i was quite proud... i would've taken a picture of it had i not packed my digicam in a box in the car.

Yes. You can fit a WHOLE lot back there if you have the seats down.
If i came home one day and saw things stickin out of my car, i think i'd go buck wild!
