Default 1990 Accord LX Oil Pressure problem

I have 130,00 miles on this car and not had any major problems. What is happening
now is that once the outdoor air temp is above about 55 degrees my oil pressure light starts
to flash after driving the car 12 or more miles. It doesn't do this in the winter time
or on cold cloudy days. I'm using 5w 30 conventional motor oil. My question is do
I need to have the oil pump function checked or is this due to engine sludge that
is causing this problem. Is it ok to just use a heavier weight oil and hope for the best? Thanks for any input you can offer.

You need an oil sending unit or a new oil pump. It's a 1990 model the things old enough to date legaly! low miles whatever you need an oil pump!
