***Trailing Arm Help***
well i have a rear camber kit on (unknown brand) and i put the stock ones back on, thing is one the driver side its lined up pretty good, on the passenger side the whole top rim in pushed in, like it have very band camber, but driver is fine. its almost as if something is bent, but i dont think thats the case.
even on the camber kit, on the passenger side its adjusted to push the wheel out further, but on driver side there is HARDLY any adjustment.
If u can help that would be great, its bugging me.

idunno. something being bent would explain a lot. Do you have the correct LCAs on both sides? Correct UCAs? It also looks like it's toed OUT. if you toe it back to factory specs, maybe it will look better. From the pics, it looks like most of your problem is toe, not camber. but maybe im just sleepy.
yea, get an alignment and the problem will b fixed. I had this same problem when i did my rear disc conv. I had more camber in the rear than the fronts so i got an alignment done and now it's where it should b at.
it doesnt look like anything is bent, but i didnt take the whole trailing arm off either to look, i got underneith it but looks fine, it seems like it has REALLY bad camber, and the top of the wheel is pushed in, but driver side is fine

yea i think its the trailing arm also, i dont think its the body at all, has to be the arm, i guess the way ill know is if i buy a whole new rear disk set up
the last car I did a 4 wheel alignment on was like that, I told him his car was bent so he went and put a new trailing arm in and guess what, same thing. So he took it to another shop and they threaded a camber kit all the way out and then told him I didnt know ****, lol.

all we did was put longer bolts and washers on it to correct it.
we didnt get it perfect, but its not noticeable to the untrained eye

thing is the car is a clean title when i bought it, pink slip doesnt say salvaged, just wondering if i should go ahead and buy another set up rear disk and see if thats the case, or just keep it the way it is with the camber kit

I would probably leave it as-is if the rest of the alignment specs are looking okay. Have you had the car on the alignment rack recently? Do you have the print-out sheet?
If you really want to use the stock UCAs, then look into getting another trailing arm. All trailing arms are the same for '88-00 Civic/CRX/del Sol and '90-01 Integra (with the exception of '90-93 Integra having a larger diameter TA bushing) regardless of drum or disc brakes, so you don't have to seek out a disc-specific arm. You will need an impact driver with the correct Torx bit if you need to swap your disc hub assembly onto a drum trailing arm though.

anyone know if there is a write up on it? it seems like alot of work, but seems cheaper than buying a whole new set up, just buy one rear drum trailing arm and switch everything over, i was thinking about that too

seriously, set the toe first. Does your car have the compensator arm at the front of the trailing arm? One easy way is to look at the center of the wheel relative to the rest of the wheel well. Maybe use a tape measure and take relative positions. Once toe is set properly you'll be able to tell a little more.
