Pics of my new custom shift knob
I just received word that my shift **** is done. I ordered a a6 shift **** from twm performance and had it custom engraved by Doug Whalen http://www.whalenshiftmachine.com/ (he is popular with MINI and BMW owners). It was $30 for the design/engraving/shipping. Here are the pics of mine and one of the **** my girlfriend has on her MINI cooper S(to show some of the custom work he can do).

You could e-mail him and ask. I would assume as long as it fits on the machine it wouldn't matter, but I am not sure.

It doesn't matter.... we have a locking nut at the bottom.

Well, the TWM has a nylon insert, so that you can line it up. http://www.twmshiftknobs.com/column/index.html But, if it didn't you could either use a locknut or install the shift **** and mark the front before shipping it out to him so he would know where to line up the graphic.

I'm not creative enough to design my own, so i just told him to do a similar design to http://thewhalenshiftmachine.s...98846 Except with the Si symbol. He has done a lot of cool designs, i just liked that style the most.
