Not Satisfied with my B16A

Default Not Satisfied with my B16A

Hey everyone i have a 92' hatchback it has a fully built b16a with JE Pistons, OEM Bearings/Gaskets, Skunk2 Intake Manifold, STR Fuel Rail, 410cc RC Injectors, JASMA Header/Cat-back, Hi-Flow Cat, Blueprinted, MSD ignition......and it only runs a 15.3 in 1/4 mile att 89mph is it just me or should i be expecting better times? what should i do to get better times im open to all suggestions. Thanks

did you raise the compression ratio?? i thought this was going to be a "i'm not happy with my stock B16" but, that does seem a tad slow.

it has P28 chipped ecu and it has hondata thats 2 things i forgot

wow thats slow....are those high compression or low compression pistons? i have a buddy with a stock b16a2 in the same year hatch that ran a 14.8 on street tires here in cali...

is its tuned or you just running the hondata basemaps? 410cc injectors would be overkill on a stock map. your afr's would be stupid rich

Yeah, but did you phisically take it to a reputable tuner, or did you think hondata was magic and would figure out the right settings for your car?

yeah thats what i was thinking. it seems quite slow in a hatch. maybe it has lower compression

hahaha it all makes sense now...tuning will make a world of a difference (with the right person tuning of course) you should be muchh happier after tuning

So what sort of power is this car making on a dyno? Because a 1320' ET alone won't tell us jack **** . . .

What did you trap? Last time i did sub 16's on foot i only trapped like 82mph.

what was your 60ft???.....89mph and did you build it or buy it built? what compression? no cams? what tranny?something is F%^K up even without a tune it should run better then that ..is it in time?
