smoked tailights
does n e one know how do to smoke tailights? i know my friend had smoked headlights, but it was kinda like a smoked cap shield that she just installed on top of her headlights, and i know some ppl actually use tint to smoke their tailights, they would remove the whole rear bumper and take out their tailights, and tint it with the actual tint material they sell at advanced auto, and some other guy had actaully used spraypaint on his ****. What does anyone recommend? Can someone please post pics up of smoked tailights on a dc5? thanks
you dont need to remove the bumper or anything like that to do the smoked tint. there are plenty of places that sell these vinyl tints, check ebay for some pics. all u need to do it place it over the lights and use a credit card or something similar to get all the air out, real simple

Rear bumper doesnt need to come off. theres 2 bolts in the trunk and 2 bolts under the taillights if you want to remove them and get them sprayed. I would leave them on and get lay over smoke vinyl thats that i have. Sometimes you'll get vinyl that wont lay over right, it seems like it doesnt fit. Dont just put it on, make sure you take a heat gun to it and stretch it out.

best way to do it...most sprays will dull out...and the overlays from lamin-x dont always get it as dark as people like... goto that site...if u can deal without ur tail lights for like 5 days...i recommend it ...he does quality work
