THey showed this concept a long long time ago before the actual type R was released.
Noone actually thought it was going to be produced.

BUT .... it would definitely explain things

If japan now gets a Type RR... I'm sure that a regular Type R would probably be headed to the US.
Since that would make it the pussified version now lol

i thought it was 240hp? accordin to some site i saw b4 it said that it was 240hp. but i think that was just a reg type-r.

the s200 has the record on stock hp.lt of displacement, no?

that looks awesome though.. the motor is angled compared to the other k's that are flat. i heard that angled motors have better center of gravity or some crap like that lol

There are a lot of design considerations to be made before making an angled mount.

Personally, I've got no idea how this would help an I4...except maybe for space reasons.

well i kno when it comes to dirtbikes, angled motors give better center of gravity and beter acceleration depending on the angle

Sorry, wont ever happen. I had a discussion about this with someone from Honda Corp. (one of the guys that worked on the FG SI) he said Honda has never and wont bring an R badged honda stateside.

Correct ME if IM mistaken but the ITR has an A badge not H badge


Hondas reputation in the U.S. is super conservative its a shock the Si even exists it does.

They are a little more experimental with the Acura brand. (ITR, RDX turbo)

The Civic in particular is known in America as a reliable, economical, effiicient, affordable car
Now Kindly removed the ported R intake manifold from your *** now

I think the Fit was experimental. Im not sure if they knew it was gonna take off like it did and thats badged with an H.
