i have a 92 prelude with jdm h22a swap. im having problems with the tail lights right now. they say on even when the car is off and when the key is out! it also seems like the car is draining my battery somewhere. can this cause it? the car is not running right now but i disconnect the terminals so the batter wont get drained. anyone have a wiring diagram i can see so i can check about the the tail lights? suggestions? where else can my car be draining my battery?

 

Just the taillights? Could very well be your brake light switch...if it's not adjusted right the brake lights will no turn off. It's mounted to the top of the brake pedal assembly...

Just get under there and look at the sensor mounted to the brake pedal. It should have a nut holding in on that you have to loosen in order to unscrew the sensor...it's pretty simple if you look at it for a minute..

the plastic button presses the brake light switch....
without it...the brake lights turn on
