How important is it to run coolant lines to the turbo
Ok heres the problem. I turbo has oil and coolant ports. Well the turbo sits so close to the block i cant get any hose on the coolant port. I am using a 90 elbow now ant it works but leaks because i have to have it face up and wouldnt get tight enough so it drips. I know the oil is 100 % needed for the bearings but always heard the coolant was just a bonus for the long term.
How many people run turbos that have coolant cooling option and dont use it.

Hey i tried clocking it but it in a car with a/c and everything is tight. i dont think its ball bearing just had it rebuilt dont think its ball bearing.

it can be done, i had a 35R with AC in a 99si
you just have to clock the turbo on the manifold, it will take a bit but it will work, also make sure you are using the right thread fitting, my buddy had the wrong threaded fitting, it went in but wouldnt seal all the way

they have about 4 different kits for water cooled turbos
it can be done, i had a 35R with AC in a 99si
