Default Cam Selection Assistance Please... yep another one.

Usage: Weekend car with autocross and lapping in mind.

Motor:
B18C1 overbored to 81.5 or 82.0 with RS Machine ITR Pistons
Stock rods and crank
GSR head ported and polished
Skunk2 Std compression, stock size valves
Rocket Gen2 Retainers and Springs
Skunk2 Pro Intake Manifold
Rage/Whitfield Header
ITR cat back with no cat.
AEM CAI
Aiming for 11.3-11.5 CR according to C-Speed

Looking for a meaty mid-range and would like to stay ~8000 peak HP (not overly important though since it's up to me to shift).

Leaning towards the Pro1's, TIA!!

Not trying to sound nasty but seriously, do you really need to ask this question? It's been covered thoroughly, many times and your build is not very radical from the usual. You only have 3 cam choices selected and realistically it's because there really are only a handfull of cams to chose form for what you want. It would seem to me that the best thing to do would be to search each cam you selected for consideration and decide for yourself. You've already stated you're leaning towards the S2 pro 1 cams and I'm sure it's because you know they are top rated and will give you very close to what you're looking for in your motor. There's also like 100 threads on people using those camse successfully in a build like yours.

Just from doing a little reading on here you will be able to determine that BC3's will give you good mid range and power that will peak around the area you want. Pro 1's should make more midrange power with a lot more top end, however some people report that they are harder to tune. RM m22x cams will perform similar to the pro 1's with probably a little less mid range but are incredibly easy to tune. The m22xx may give you the mid range or a little better of the pro1 with a similar top end.

It's really all what YOU want. Your particular engine may make more power on the BC3's for all we know. Make an educated decision for yourself and see what happens. No one here has a crystal ball to tell you which of these cams will be perfect for your car. But rest assured, you really can't go wrong with any of the choices.

Thanks for the concise response. Skunks are readily available, BC are somewhat available and with the Rockets I'll need to order from the States.

i voted for the pro1's since you re autocrossing . a lot of dyno charts i ve seen showed the midrange of the pro1's is very strong and they like low 11 compression. good luck
