Clear the front signal lights!! Any Help
Hey Guys!!!! I have a 2006 Honda Civic DX, and I just wanted to find out how hard is it to clear the front signal lights?? Now I know the headlight assembly and front bumper has to be removed!! But is the front alot of work to remove? Please any information you guys can give me I will be grateful!!!!!
Did you buy that off the lot or do you have to specially ask for a DX? I've never seen one here on our honda lot, and I've never really noticed one on the streets.

I doesn't take that long to remove the front bumper. It takes me about 10mins tops by myself. But I've taken it apart multiple times. You need someone to help you put it back on though. You can do it!

i have mine done. i like them clear.
the only hard part to this project, is....
taking them apart, there glue is insane. than u gotta scrape that shizzy off to a somewhat decent point so it will seal back up tightly. pissed me off.....

The easiest thing to do is have two pair of hands. When you are pulling the lense and the frame apart have the other person cut the glue with a razor blade. I just pushed the glue back into the seal area of the frame. When I put it back together I put some epoxy in there and baked it again for about 2 min. I haven't had a single problem yet, its been about 4 months.

i ripped it apart by myself.
than when i realized how ****** much glue was left, i knew it wouldn't fit back in so well.
so what i did was turn on my stove, heated the end of a 5mm wrench and ran it along the edge. the heat melted the glue and pushed it out of the way. ya know? hard to explain, probly have no clue what im saying. whatever.
than added some bomb ***, waterproof, clear glue...
smashed back together.

This is because, if you screw up at Best Buy, Best Buy pay's to fix it and/or you get fired. If you screw up on your car, you pay for it. Sometimes that is scarier then losing your job.
I new set of headlights will cost you around $500.00 if you have to replacement them. Sure glad I have a spare set sitting in the garage. lol

It is easy man. Just make sure that the inside of the lens is clean and dr and you don't use anything liquid. Then use some gooey glue and stick them back together till its good and tacky slap them back in the oven for a few minutes and bam no problems.
