This is totally spanning my mind right now, but what are those tabs called...the ones that cover up empty button slops around the steering wheel? also where can i find them? i searched for what i thought it was called...no results

 

i think they are called dummy switches or dummy plugs try those you can find them at a junk usually any honda with the dummy plugs/switches fit
