Default Pixors

My R felt like saying hello today.
It has been a long time since I have taken pics of her. All the repairs and maintenance that kept popping up really made me tired of the car. For punishment, I don't think I waxed it in over a year and a half

The other day I had time to kill after doing yard work, so I washed her, then used McGuire's paint cleaner and wax. I can't tell you how happy I was with the results! I was able to get out every suface scratch that I had and all the dark spots on the paint caused by who knows what. It made my pride in the car come right back when I noticed how beautiful it really was. On to the pix....

* First Pics since the Mugen 5 Way... I love the stance it has *

haha. I am working on it. It won't be here for a few more days
Sadly it is going to have to sit in the box until after Expo. Then the whole exhaust will go on and a retune will follow

By the way, does anybody know what test pipe I need to mate up the Kami 2.5" header with an SMSP exhaust (also 2.5") Right now, the SMSP is on a gs-r with a Spoon header.

It is a lost cause as long as I have the GT Sports on.
When I run the stock pads I keep it clean, but GT Sports turn them black.

Please remind me not to upset you....... that punishment was a bit steep don't you think?

Come on over, the R needs another coat of wax. I will measure the cat. that I am running and maybe that will help with tracking down the right test pipe.

I like shots like these - they make the car seem to have personality... at least in my crazy mind they do... I have a shot somewhere like this only it's a grandpa-g1teg peeking in at R-box, hee hee!

Whatever.... do you even leave the house anymore? I was saying that we should all get together sometime soon, are you game? Don't ask me when or where.... this is still in it's infancy stage.

Yea John, it is very rare to find anything with the personality that you have.
If you brought your R out of the garage every once in a while we might actually get to know it.

Ok John, put some burgers on the grill and I will wax while you cook.
Andrew better come and chill with us next time we do a get together.

Noah, do you know what length the Kami header is? Is it a USDM length or a JDM, or neither?

Here is a pic of my torque / horsepower to add some more color to the thread. I also put my AFR printout below.

both, it depends on what dyno you want to relate it to.
Dynojet is 220, DynoDynamics is 188.7

I drove the R to work and the wife and I got back a while ago from taking her on into the rural part of town for a nice drive.

How many of us are there? Jim, Jeff, Andrew, Jo, Ian, you and myself? What about that Gunner guy? It is hard to believe that with all the R's I see here that none of them have reached out to meet us or anything.

I have never met or heard of Ian....
I have talked to Gunner a few times, but mostly he doesn't answer his phone.
I have called him to invite him to track events and such, but no reply.
I wonder if he is going to Expo this year?

Ian is the guy that bought Jim's old R.

If I don't leave town next weekend I suppose we could do a little sum-sum at my place. I'll confirm this by Tues.

No idea, I would check the dimensions on Kamikaze's site.

For the 2.5" collector, all it says is that it requires modification.

Bla

Also you have the choice of downpipe to fit stock location, or our full out 2 1/2" outlet downpipe, specialized for supercharged vehicles. (Which does require modification) Dyno tested and race proven.

I am sorry I got your name wrong. Your behavior wasn't bad, I just over reacted to some things. We'll see what we can do about time and date for a meet.

As far as the header and exhaust go, when my new exhaust FINALLY gets here I'll let you know.

This weekend is not looking so good right now.

Well, it looks like I am going to have to go to KC.... (for parts)
It is pretty bad when your best friend is a tow truck.

John, that POS AC tensioner bolt broke again today... It sheared off once again, ******* up the pulley and belts. Perhaps it was a good thing I had not replaced the crank pulley yet, but it sure as hell needs it now...
