what is it that you have to replace when you only see smoke out the exhaust when you get on it and shift and then get on it again and (the big cloud of smoke comes out for that brief moment when u just get back on it, i think it was something that was with the valves but im unsure.

 

that would be valve seals or major piston ring damage do a leak down and compression test to pin point exaxt location..

 

had the same problem... most likely u need to replace the rings

its not the rings i have about a 1000 miles on them lol, fresh hone on the block and fresh bottom end rebuild, i know its something in the head cuz i read a post that was talkin about when your under hard acceleration and when u shift and then mash on the gas again you get a temporary cloud of smoke from the exhaust, piston rings would cause it to smoke under hard acceleration all the time, my single cam did it all day long, i tried to blow that thing up and it finally blew cuz my oil was burnin

 

id say valve seals... there cheap and easy so u cant go wrong doing them
