downpipe/header
okay on thursday i was doing an oil pan gasket and new oil pan right.. and i had to drop downpipe transmission plate and subframe.. well after reassmebly everything 3.5hrs later i can hear a leak and smell it right where the downpipe meets up to the header.. is there a gasket i forgot to put don't think it has one. i know the other end that goes to the cat has a gasket.. anyways the 3 14mm bolts are freaking tight so i don't get it.. is it a big deal if its leaking a little will i run rich?
OMG U DIDN'T READ A THING I WROTE.. THAT SAID.. i already stated theres a gasket on the downpipe that goes to cat..
now is there a gasket for header and downpipe? if so mine didn't have it.. thats all i'm asking the bolts are tight so idunno why its leaking exhaust.. and what happens if i ignore the problem.. will i run rich?

If it's stock...it's not a header...it's an exhaust manifold...

header/exhaust manifold same thing..
because header would have a gasket and manifold wouldn't so i'm pretty sure theres no gasket.. so my leak must be somewhere else..

I'm too lazy to look at your other posts or guess what year/model you have, so I didn't post a picture.

x3, just took mine off the other week, have one in there, replaced all new gaskets for them to. You should just replace all 3 gaskets

your 02 sensor might get some bad readings. and everything around the leak be exposed to more heat than normal.
