Default Comprehensive Paint Job Prices

I'm planning, like a lot of guys on the site, to get my car repainted. I've done exhaustive research on prices for varying amount of body/paint work so I could get an idea of how much of my allowance I need to save. If everybody posted a pic of their car, with a list of the work that was performed and a breakdown of how much everything cost, we'd have a pretty nice resource here. Thanks for your help!

ttt,

I'd like this info too. Have alot of bodywork that needs to be done, and looking for a full repaint, perhaps color change including engine bay. Thanks in advance.

check out mobworks.com, they do a excellent job at painting and repairing cars. I would say the price would vary but it usually starts out around 2grand, depending on what you want to do with your car. check out the pics...

I originally wanted to just paint my side moldings and sideskirts, but I just happened to back up into my driveway wall around the same time.
I cracked my rear bumper, broke a tail light, and dented the quarter panel. I ended up swapping out front/rear bumpers headlights, taillights for 98+
the paintjob alone was 2k. I paid $100 extra to shave the trunk keyhole, and bought all the parts. I didn't paint the door jams or under the hood. I went from Frost White to VW's Candy white so you can't really tell that much.
Hope that helps.

Theres a local guy here in WA that does show-quality paint and bodywork for so damn cheap its scary... I've had work done, and some of my friends have had work done by this guy. Full paint jobs start at $350 + paint. He'd probably do all kinds of body work, jams, and bay for around $1000 + paint.

Anyone in WA looking to get their cars repainted or work done, call this guy. PM me for more info.

i should be picking up my ride tomorrow from a shop after the paint job is done. It should look pretty decent..i've seen some of their other works. I've gotten many estimates since i'm a broke *** and i decided to get a urethane paint job instead of a base/clear coat paint job. cost me 800 for the job with doorjambs plus 50 for shaving the hood and fixing a crooked fender. hopefully i can post pics soon.

I'm getting MAACO, but have done all the prep myself. I'll have prices and pics early next week.
