i have a GSR with DC 4-2-1 header connected to a stock cat with a Greddy SP2 exhaust on a 98 civic ex. any suggestions on a high flow cat to lessen my flow restrictions? has anyone got one off of ebay? all input needed. thanks

To answer the queries about the language that was being used: No, it is <u>not</u> acceptable to use that kind of language.

He's a moderator, he came into this thread because he had complaints from members on this site about the inappropriate language that was used. Notice he cleared the junk so that the thread could start over again and hopefully address your question.

If you can find a cat from an ITR, it would be a nice addition and would flow better than what you have now. I wouldn't go above a 2.5" inch aftermarket high flow cat with your engine, there's really no need to unless you go boost or something way more radical than you have now.

 

yeah i was thinking 2.5 thats what my exhaust is from the cat back. but i believe it will be 2.25 for the inlet for a dc 4-2-1 header. thanks for your response.

Actually it is only 2"

 

I believe your Greddy exhaust is 60mm OD (2.36") so there's no reason to run a 2-1/2" cat whihc would have an outlet ID of 2.5" where as your B pipe ID would be 2.25". You need a 2-1/4" cat.
