Hey this is going to sound odd, but will the f22 fit into my h23 motor mounts and drop right in? Can I use the H23 harness, tranny, and ecu? I'm doing this because I can get an f22 cheap and I need my car asap...it'll be my DD and again...I just need it running I don't have the money for an h23

YEs it will bolt into the mounts, they are the same for all the 4th gens. It will also wire up the same too. You may have a problem with the ecu, b/c you are going from dohc to sohc.

But search and you will see the answers. All these have been answered before, maybe in the other direction.

 

You will also be able to use the h23 transmission.

The gears are shorter than the f22 though.
