Default Tips for removing my exhaust silencer...

Anyone have any tips for removing my exhaust silencer? It seems to be jammed in there pretty tight, I don't think it's going to ever come out lol.

Thanks

Use something with an expandable hook end. Insert into silencer expand hooks and pull like a ****.

Slide hammer would work too if you have something to hook into the silencer.

And when i say insert into silencer, i mean right down the center where it goes into the muffler, you want to pull from as close to center as possible.

Know there is no place screw, its so tight I never put one in. And I tried pulling it out with vice grips and that thing is set in stone. "Use something with an expandable hook end" I was thinking that, but i can't think of a tool to do it. Should I spray like WD-40 is very sparse amounts around the ring just to get it moving, or would that be a bad idea because of the temp it reaches

Are you SURE its removable? O.o

And I don't see why WD-40 would make a difference because of temp. *shrugs*

Do it.

Yeah I am sure it's removable, I put it in, it has "2 levels" and I had it in the first level and it was sticking out like a ****, so I put it in the 2nd level and now it's loud, so I am going to remove it, cut it, and then hopefully for now it will hide that super rice sound until I get my RS*R :D

use brake cleaner. ots for brake disks you can spray as much as u want it evaporates on its own. also go to the hardware store and ask them for a big toggle bolt. it colapses so you can put it in and when its althe way through it snaps open and then you just pull the hell out of it.

lube that thing up with WD-40 inside and out or better yet, use LPS-2 and let it soak for a good 10 minutes. I attached a 4 inch metal rod (4 1/2 inch tip) attached with a chain, stuck it inside my silencer and pulled like crazy till the sucker came out! Good luck
