Obd 2 to Obd1 do i need crank sensor hooked up

Obd 2 to Obd1 do i need crank sensor hooked up
ok i got a 98 GSR (obd2) and i did the convo to Obd1 and just was wondering
do i need to run the crank sensor. i am getting code 15. i have did a LSvtec swap in it and idle is all up and down and can get it to keep running stalls out. now i didnt
put the crank sensor back in because obd1 doesnt need it.
i am running obd2 harness and distributer too.
