Default I Need Help.. Add on & Conversions.

I have a Honda Accord 03 Ex Coupe; I have an Injen Cold Air Intake, DC Sports Header, and DC Sports CS2 Strut bar. I am planning to purchase a GREDDY EVO2 catback exhaust system, but i am wondering what other modifications can i add on to boost extra hp. I was wondering since my car is an AUTOMATIC, i want to know if it is possible to swap a RSX Tiptronic Transmission onto a K24A4 block. If so, how much would it cost and how much will it cost for a K20A head conversion also. I dont need to worry much about $, im not rich but i can save up $. Please give me some inputs. Thank you very much.

I would suggest figuring out what you want. You just made 7 topics and all are going in different directions.

Do you want to go after performance or style?
Do you want a turbo?
Do you want a manual?
Do you want a body kit?
Do you want to be slammed?
etc

You can do all of the above, I'd just suggest sticking with one thing at a time instead of going 80 different directions at once. You can do all of the stuff you are talking about, but a RSX tranny is pointless to swap, because the gears are too short. You can do the headswap, and it isn't that difficult.

You can stick with an automatic and turbo it safely at 220whp, which is about 8psi on a small turbo. If you want to swap to a manual and go for super high hp, I can help you because I have done it. The Evo2 is a great exhaust on our cars, and looks great, but if you plan on doing all this stuff, I'd wait and think about what you are doing so you don't have to get another exhaust down the road if you end up turbo.

I don't know if the TL-S suspension thing is feasible, but I do know the wheels fit.

I wouldnt mind boosting but its too soon. I was wondering what other internals should i buy before installing the EVO2 exhaust system. Note: I already installed header. Also that sucks to know that the gears are short on the RSX Trans. I like having the option of switching from manual to auto. Good in traffic. Also how much will the K20A head cost and what needs to be done? I heard there is a clearance issue and the motor needs to be ported? Is this true? Thanks for the input msedacca

Yes there is a clearance issue, I believe its 1mm. You don't need any internals if you just want bolt-ons, although Unorthodox Racing pulleys would be a nice 15hp addition for real cheap and its a quick and easy install.

I didn't know the RSX had a tiptronic or autotronic transmission? Yes, having a manual with a superlight flywheel does suck in traffic.

The k20a heads are now much harder to come by, and your best bet is obviously a junkyard, but they will run you minimum 800. Plus you need necessary parts, and if you aren't doing it yourself, then there are install fees. I'd say it'd cost you around 2000, depending on what you use etc.

Your EVO2 exhaust should bolt up just fine, and I'm sure you'll like the sound of it. Enjoy, and if you have any more questions, feel free to msg me.

After installing the K20A head, how much performance boost do you think i will be gaining? Yeah i need that racing pulley. And also thats the reason why i want the tiptronic shift, traffic is annoying.
