help me make a decision. regarding the fate of a 92 lude
please help me decide the fate of my lude and crx. well i have a 92 prelude with a aebs sleeved fully turbo built h22 with a quaife lsd. right now its only 300 whp @ 10 psi. due to my shitty revhard manifold. anyway. the car still needs a new manifold and a retune, along with new drag springs. right now i have koni yellows on gc coilovers. any way the car is set up for street and therefore my launch sucks. the car is freshly painted black with jdm headlights. full blk leather. mint. and i have beautifull street rims. and the suspension is setup for the road. at the same time i have a 91 red crx si in my yard. its in pretty rough shape, and i was thinking of putting the h22 motor in the rex with explicits mount kit, along with a cage and a set of slicks. and ill put a reg jdm h22 with oem lsd in the lude and rock that as a daily. what do u think? keep in mind that im daily driving a mint 91 white si that i would rather have in storage. and it would be my cheapest way out with still having a nice dd and still have a drag/race project in the garage with my 91 gem in the garage bone stock. any and all opinions appreciated. thanx
Sounds like what you want to do is get a JDM H22 for the Lude and put the turbo H22 into the CRX. It'd be an awesome project for sure, and your DD wouldn't be too shabby either, not to mention the condition of the car. If I were you I'd do that, considering for the most part, that it definitely sounds like that's what you want to do with it.
CRX with a turbo H22 will fly. Enjoy, whichever route you decide to take

id put the regular JDM H22 into the CRX (still really quick)
and get a new manifold + tune for your lude.
and use the CRX as the dailey

Then you have two mediocre fast cars... I'd rather have a dependable yet impressive DD and a project/track car. To each his own.
hmm, sounds like a dilemma.
a jdm h22 crx would easily be in the 13s if not close to 12s 1/4 mile. i know they dont weigh much.. unless youre looking for even faster id leave the turbo in the lude and still keep it the dd.
its a toughy tho!
