Default methanol + JRSC??

has anyone used methonal injection to help cool down a JRSC? just got back from tuning with 9psi on the JRSC. got high IAT and was looking into methanol injection with a safety switch to run two maps. anyone have any experience or comments about this?

i have been looking at snow performances kits but their safety module is back to the drawing board due to some flaws. any idea where to get this also?

thanks.

Maybe start off with water injection? and move on from there. I've seen many water injections kits around on the net.

I've seen the LHT piece first hand. John over there is AMAZING with his fabrication work.

I have also seen John's work, it is real nice. Even his machined aluminum power steering brackets are nice.

When I was out there last, I looked under his hood and damn near EVERYTHING was fab'd up. I was impressed to say the least. LOL

Yeah I looked it over and talked with John last Sept. down at Nopi in ATL. He said the reasoning for fabbing up a lot of the brackets was to help bring the weight down from adding the turbo. He wanted the car to stay the same weight as it was when the car was new. That my friend tells me he has the attention to detail.

yeah i looked at your thread it was quite nice what you did but im not the fabrication type. with the LHT its like 1k+ and you have to run water and it would be a hassle to constantly run cold water. if the water were to become ambient tempurature if it was mounted in the trunk or under the hood, wouldnt that just defeat the purpose or am i wrong somewhere in my understanding of it?

with the methanol it is about $400 but i have to run a safety module to run two maps for fail safe.

do you have this running on your car fastvtecCL?
