is anyone going this weekend?

first time going to AMA, well i went a couple years ago but i didnt have a bike, and only reason i went was cause of a car show, now that ive had a bike for awhile, and i somewhat keep up on ama(i know the riders and whos been up top, but never keep up on standings like i do with moto gp) i thought why not go.

didnt know prices were expenisve 45$ at the gate or 35$ advanced, so all my friends backed out, i really wanna go, since im basicly the only one outta all my friends that even keeps up on any motorcycle racing, just dont know if i wanna be a loner all day lol,


anyways last time i went i remember the first gate was designed for motorcycle parking is this true? i remember seeing it a couple years ago, also anyone go by themselves and still enjoy it?

 

since i dont follow ama as closely as moto gp

whats the differnce between

ama superbike
ama formula xtreme
ama supersport

not sure about the gates.. have fun!

ama superbike is 901-1000cc 4stroke bikes
ama supersport is 0-600cc 4stroke and twin cylinder bikes
ama formula extreme is 450-600cc multiple cylinder, 595cc-750cc liquid cooled twin cylinder, and 850cc-1350cc air cooled twin cylinder.

all of the above classes allow bikes to be modified.

then there is ama superstock which is 745cc-1000cc multiple cylinder bikes that remain close to their showrooom stock condition.

i went yesterday and it was great, i walking by the suzuki booth and i turned around and matt maladin was standing there hahaha.

looks like it is going to be a good race it was windy yesterday and no so packed, didnt go back today but thinking maybe tommorow ?
