if the compression is good across the board and a leakdown test shows fine, low boost like that will be fine for your stock pistons.

w/e you want, since you're in there might as well get a better piston/rod setup,

while you're building buy new honda bearings, the weak point of the Z motor is the ring lands and rods

some people run vitara's with eagles and some run higer aftermaret ones its all up to you

but if you were to do a full rebuild honda engines (one of the reaons) are so realible becuase of the bearing setup, head desighn and block desghn dont expletive with this or if you do expletive with it right

random fact NASCAR engines/ NASCAR engine builders prefer honda oem bearings to any other aftermarket/oem supplier

This is all you need to know right here.

He's not going to be digging in there unless he absolutely has to.

For that amount of power, there will be no reason to...unless his compression test shows that his pistons/rings are shot.

Not worth the hassle when he wont benefit from it unless he's making more than 230whp.

short of 250whp it's really just insurance. But d-series are a dime a dozen, so blowing one Up isn't a big deal.

A lot of the most knowledgeable people on here have stock cars.

Hell some don't even own hondas. Your reasoning of me owning a stock car as being correlative of me not knowing anything about hondas is juvenile and illogical.

Like swapping a y8 tranny, new clutch/flywheel, tb and ipsb, axles, y8 manifold, shifter, tein SS on my brothers dc2, a mini-me for my friend in Glendale,

Welding two exhausts up for two people at tokyo speed pros. Welding an ebay header back together that's been going strong for 5,000 miles, shortening shift linkages, and wiring new headlight harnesses.

Some things that make you sound petty and immature:

Saying "oh yeah, I'd like to see your piece of ****" when someone criticizes your car.

Saying "you drive a stock car" when someone corrects your technical information.

Saying "you need to go get laid and get a life" when you're criticized in any way shape or form.

Dude...you are a jackass!

Ek forever guy will school your *** in anything that has to do with a Honda!

What is your reasoning for saying he doesnt have knowledge? He is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT about not needing to change out the pistons/rods until you are up to about 220whp.

Go ahead and question me, i DD a boosted D....for over a year now, and im almost done building a D for 400+ whp.

What an effective way to solve your problems. Very adult-like.

But oddly enough, you're the one who brings it up in every single thread.

I can't even remember, I get in nub fights all the time. They just can't handle my H-T extendable baton of logic/common sense.

Really, at 5-8psi, you don't need to upgrade any internals. Just get a chipped ecu, spend a couple bills getting a credible dyno tune, and run all day long.

D-series are bulletproof .... just ask Mike from Whiplash.
