Where is he gonna get a GT35R for 650? Show me, I want 10 of them. What #'s are you looking to put down? Both are good turbo's, I think its more about what you wanna spend.

The original poster asked about a GTK-650 which is a 650hp turbo and a GT40R, underboost said for 650hp not $650, why not use a T4 GT35R. Get it now?

GT4088R with a 1.06 A/R turbine for 650whp Proven time and time again My .02 cents

Sorry Terry it won't happen again. I glanced at it and now that you mention it I can see what he was trying to say. Misleading in a way. The HP in 650 would have made for no confusion.

how was it misleading? just like you assumed since the 650 didn't have "hp" following the text, don't assume since it doesn't have "$" before it that it meant cash. if you read more than the last post in a thread...you can typically pick up on what someone is saying....

A GT35R will make the horsepower but it will be at the limit of the turbo. A 40R will give you some wiggle room and comfortably make that horsepower.

Also with the 35R "650hp" is about it and when you want more as we all end up wanting you wont have to worry about selling the 35R for a 40R.

I would say get a turbo rated for more horsepower than you actually want and turn the boost "DOWN"

the t3 35r can do 650. and the t4 35r def can too. wouldnt a 40r be a bit overkill if he wants 650 ... they are good for over 700+ right?

650 can be done on a 35r, with a good setup. It's a much more realistic number on a 40r.

doesnt she have a gt-k 850? and she said first time out they didnt even run it on full boost. still ran a 10.6 at 142 great numbers but lets keep to facts and not allegations.

i say 40r because its proven and the 35r would be at its limits so might as well get the 40r, these gt-k turbos have been out for months and noone wants to show any dyno charts.

Andrea Koury has I do believe the GT-K 850 and went 9.90s her second track outing which is AWESOME. She had only made like 7 total passes on the car at that point I believe.

I do believe that the turbo blew or they had an issue with it after her last pass though Nothings perfect BUT they are taking care of her so

wha? a t-netics turbo leak??? nah...haha. my -netics leaked within ~500 miles, and is now a paperweight. i wasn't interested in the warranty...who wants to keep pulling their **** apart, regardless of warranty? i'll stick to garrett turbos...
