Default intake manifold

i was sitting at work when some one asked me about my car he said he had a skunk 2 intake manifold my b18b for 100 buccks but i was wondering does the intake manifold actually do anything i know it flows air better but is there really a diffence between the stock and the skunk 2

Yes, there is a difference. I've heard B18B's (which I assume you have) don't respond as well as other B-series to them though.

I heard it does a lot for turbo apps. but if you slap on a Skunk2 intake manifold with out some cams, it wouldnt do too much.
