Default Quick sportbike question

So I've been rockin a bike like this for a while

and I'm planning on getting a sportbike this summer. I was sitting on some today, and how quickly do you get used to the position you sit in, because your feet are in a drastically different position on any sportbike than my bike

that is a sport bike!

seating is uniquely... unique. you'll have to decide for yourself, but however you decide it WILL be very different than your used to. pegs are not the problem its control positioning and bar reach/height, they are drastically different on a modern sport bike. My suggestion is MAKE SURE you want the pain and ridability(or lack of ridability) on a sport bike. you can get a sport touring bike that is AS comfortable as your nighthawk, but will still perform. as an illustration:

Standard:

Pure Sport/Race:

Look how much more compact the sport bike is, and the standard is just as capable for all but 10/10's riding

Um and another advantage of the Standard is that it just looks better
