Default What's the difference between P54 and P7J compressor bracket??

I have searched and most was wtb/fs topics. I know P54 are from 95 delsol V-TEC nd P7J are from CRV don't know what year. Price are $40 difference at Majestic, delsol one cost $105 and I enter a 99 crv $63. I remember both will work for d-series compressor, and some wtb topic people prefer the P54 over P7J. Beside price difference and of course the car model, do both bracket work??

You cannot keep power steering with the CR-V bracket, so unless you have P/S get the Cr-V bracket due to its cheaper price.

What are the part numbers for both of these parts?

When I goto Majestic, I do not know what I am looking for, as the pictures are not working for me.

not true. If you have a b18 and want to keep PS then the p7j or the p54 will work. If you have a b16 and want to keep PS then only the p54 will work. If u have a b18 or b16 and want to eliminate PS altogether then get the p7j, its way cheaper than the p54.

Bingo!
If anyone wants, I can supply pictures of the p7j, on b18, with P/S
(philosofy1 can probably provide for b16)

Buy the p7j - its ridiculously cheaper

it wouldve just given you results for "bracket" since "ac" is too short
"p7j" in 'thread bodies' wouldve worked great though

so if i take a obd1 b18c1 gsr motor out of a 94 integra gsr, and install it into a 95 civic ex sedan, and want to keep my d series ac compressor and lines, and power steering ill need the P54 OR p7j bracket????????

either one will work? how about the torque mounts? do i need to use different torque mounts depending on which a/c bracket i use???????

and since i will be using the d series compressor, which ac belt and ac tensioner will i need to run?

yes the P54 or the p7j will work. im currently using the p7j on my b18c-R with power steering and a d series compressor in my 93 si. I did have to get a pwr steering pump and brackets from an integra though.

is this what your talking about??

Use a DOHC Del Sol-P30 P/S top mount and P54 P/S lower mount and you will be able to use your stock P/S pump....

and as far as the ac compressor goes, which ac bracket will i need if i swap a b series motor in a obd2 96-00 civic chassis?

p54 OR p7j
