You can get them easy....as race cars.....on the street though? I thought that the Import laws for no US crashworthy vehicles only allowed it in if the Platform was not sold here, and you can prove the car has signifigant technical/historical value.
I am still convinced you did NOT see an EVO on the Berlin Turnpike, pansy boy. People in our neck of the woods don't know jack about cars...now if you said you saw it in Greenwich I'd believe it, maybe.
will buy an EVO VII if R ever gets stolen

sheet when you got money you'd be surprised what you can accomplish... especially being from south fla.. Probably another drug dealer who wants to be the sheet..

Here's an importer for Lan Evos in the states. They used to sell the Evo VI like the one posted in this thread, but now they only sell Evo VIIs

not suprised, especially if you live in florida.
i've seen about 3 evo's in the past 6 months or so.
2 at recent car shows (one i belive was the super-duper rally edition tommy mackiin or something like that)
and 1 on interstate I-75 going North .
alot of them are either shipped from jamica(like 90% of all the JDM crap comes from there lately) or the cayman islands.
i'm sure there's alot of evo's roaming around in the east coast of florida.
hell, one more year and its out for sale.
SANBST-hoping that it will be under the 30k range.
no wait, if i remember, there used to be one evo's (i believe it was a evo4 or evo5) somewhere in the Miami/West Palm beach like almost 4 years ago. (hell, it was the first type-r's where avialable at the local acura dealers)i believe it was a white one with some cheesy funking graphics on the side. it was, however, real deal jdm.
LHD and everything, it used to be out at the moroso events before any big name sanction events came to moroso.
don't know if anyone here from florida remembers this car at the strip.
if i'm not mistaken, it was running in the mid 12's.
Ross,
There is a guy, Jeff, that I met at the auto-x in Bristol, CT last year who had two Lancer EVOs. One was white and one was silver, the white one was RalliArt prepped, and I believe the silver one was stolen(from him), and recovered and is still being rebuilt. While neither of these cars are technically street legal, he had plates on them and drove them to and from the auto-x. Not sure if he'd have the ***** to bring one to the pike, but he had no problem ripping up and down the street giving people rides the day I saw him. In addition, I know of at least one "street legal" Lancer in New Engand, it is possible...
