Default clutch pedal is soft.

Ever since I swap a d16y8 motor into a ek6, my clutch pedal become soft. I mean very soft. Sometime when it's cold the clutch pedal is so soft that it won't even return back. You would have to use your hand to press the clutch until it's better.
I bleed the clutch and it still soft. Is my clutch going out?

Might be you brake master cylinder that has gone bad, or your brake booster, I have both for sale...check the link in my signature block. GL

this has nothing to do with his clutch, sounds like it's ur slave cylinder, check for leaks around the area.

look it on yahoo or ebay bro. Its either the clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder. i'm guessing its the slave since you just did your tranny swap. When i did my tranny swap my slave went out. My buddys clutch started acting up and i thought it was the slave but it was the clutch master cylinder.

the slave cylinder is on the transmission itself, it's right next to a rubber boot thing. You should be able to see it when ur standing in front, it also has a line going to it for the clutch fluid.
