I have an 01 Accord. Every now and then I hear a scraping noise that seems to come from my right front wheel. If I drive for a hour, I might hear the noise 2 or 3 times for 5 or 10 seconds then it disappears. If I tap the brake the noise disappears. The noise might come on at any speed, I have even heard it while in reverse. I thought maybe it was a clip scraping against the disk, but I can't see any evidence of this. The disk looks fine, the brake pads aren't particularly warn. The metal clips seem to be in place. Could this be a wheel bearing problem or am I overlooking something in the brake system?
