I was looking into getting a Garrett T3/T4 50 trim A/R .63 for my GSR. what kind of power are you guys making on this turbo and what are some good things about it? im not looking for redicilous power because its going to be my daily driver, but wanted to talk to some people who were using this first before i bought it.

 

wayyyyy back in the days, I made 280 at 7.5 psi with 54 trim on a bone stock GS-R...same thing, actually I like the 50 trim better than 54. I ran the 50 trim afterwards, bu never dynoed it..

I made 382whp with the same turbo you are looking at, but its on a SOHC.

 

350awhp on a DSM. Still not even trying, it'll do more easily.

 

I've seen some SRs pushed to about 420-440 rwhp on this turbo on stock internals. That's probably the ragged edge of the compressor efficiency though. At that point an SC61 or the like starts making a lot more sense.
