Default Stock 92 Civic CX running pig rich

No mods no nothing.. the white rear bumper is totally black due to how rich it is running. Any ideas?

I searched and it seems everyone that has rich running problems has a swap of some sort. I'm still running my little go kart engine ;P

Is the check engine light on? Are there any codes? most of the time a running rich on a stock set up is an indication of a bad O2 or unplugged O2. It could be a few other things but that is where I would start

No codes no nothing, it definitly has a cat. Like I said, bone stock. The car also wasnt doing this when I got it, about 6-8 months ago. It has started in the past 2 months.

Have you checked for any stored codes that may not be present as a CEL on your dash?

Have you checked your spark plugs to make sure you're getting a good ignition, and thus burning up all the fuel that's peeing into your cylinders?

same **** happened to my friend.... he had leaking fuel injectors, pull out your spark plugs to see if they're wet.

Happened to my car too... bad o2 sensor.

I'll go with bad 02 sensor or leaking injector.

Could be both!
