i popped out the yellow page and called several tranny shops for prices on resurfacing a stock honda flywheel. i came to find out 9 of the 10 shops dont resurface flywheels. is it just i was unlucky to find these 9 shops or so most trans shops dont resuface them? anyone know where i can go to get this done at? what prices do they go for? cause the 1 shop that does them was asking for $50/flywheel is a resurfacing machine expensive?

 

call a machine shop not a tranny shop. if you call around you can probabaly find a better price

 

like an engine machine shop that ports head and hone blocks?

 

yeah. they do it all the time

 

not the machine shops around here. none of them do it
