Default Accord Inspire Emblem

Got the Accord Inspire emblem for my Accord.

On the back where the adhesive is to stick it to the car are 2 prongs comming out of it. It looks as if I would have to put 2 small holes on my trunk lid to put it on right.

Would it be possible to cut those prongs off that way there I don't have to mess around with cutting into my trunk lid and make it fit that way? Or should I cut 2 small holes for the prongs to fit into?

I'm sure they are there on the car it's supposed to go onto. For you, just cut the "prongs" off so it sits flush without having to drill/cut into your trunk lid.

That's probably the best thing to do.

Thanks man! Can't wait to put it on. Probably not gonna but it on until after i get a paint job because theres no sense in putting it on now and then having to have it get ripped off to paint.

I got it from http://www.shopresponse.com/. Once you get there, click the "JDM" link on the right hand side of the page. It obviously came off an Accord, but I'm guessing it was an Accord Inspire? I think it will look good.

It's from the JDM Acura TL

To the OP just cut the prongs off with a set of plyers and if you have a dremel grind it down so it sits flush and won't scratch your paint.
