how far can I drop my car with 400f/350r GC/konis and a bbs 17x7 4x114.3, 42mm offset wheel?

Really depends on tire size....
I would look into a 15" wheel for AutoX.
You still want suspension travel, so I wouldn't go too far.
I run mine about 1.5" lower than stock which was suggested to me by a Nationals level Pro STS driver.
Lowering it as much as you can with clearance is not the best idea....

 

Dump that S*** 3 inches. 225-50-15 tires and 15 x 7" wheels. Will not rub for the life of it, even in auto-x.

Youre obviously not a guy who has ever spent any times AutoX'ing or roadRacing.
I doubt you can ever lower a Prelude 3" and run 225/50/15's......I would have to see it to believe it. Do you know what SUSPENSION TRAVEL or (-) Camber is???
Do you run this setup on a car that has accomplished anything besides wreaking street havoc??? Or do you take HWY ramps as fast as you can like an idiot......
Take your car to a Track day or AutoX and learn how to drive.......

Header is bent, but no hole yet & oil pan is rusted, but works for now Biatch.

This coming from a guy that was asking if he could drive with no crank pulley because he messed up his bottom end.....Real smart!
i highly doubt your car is lowered 3" and would love to see how you place AutoX'ing..... Some of us actually cae about our headers and oil delivery. Rusted oil pan.....very smart!

 

OP: Anything can be done with the proper setup. Got an idea in your mind, let it happen.

Id say thats perfect and don't listen to that RICER Punk about a 3" drop. I would be surprised if a World Challenge Level Prelude would even be that low....and if it was it would be with more into suspension than most of us paid for our cars.

 

Dude, 3 inch drop is not even that much. Grab a ruler and measure 3 inches, you'll see that factory 4G ludes have 3.5-4 inches of clearance between fender and top of tire. So 3 inch drop isn't that much. ....... There are springs that lower cars by like 2.25 in, imagine what a car running on coilovers would be dropped by.

And why would you call me a ricer ? Just because I said " Dump that S*** " ??? A few years back some were saying that its Rice to put tire shine on your tires and I don't see anything wrong with that ... I do it too. C'mon

 

my car is dropped about 2.75" or so compared to stock

but i fall into the ricer category so it dont matter

well if the outer diameter of the tire is 24" or less you can drop 2 inches all around no problem

You have no idea how suspension travel works.....It doesn't matter if you CAN do it I am listing reasons why it SHOULDN'T be done.....Judging suspension setups by looks is a joke......

Throw some 205/50/15 Hankooks on the stock wheels or dig p some cheap 15's for them. You won't be let down.

2.75" doesn't make you a Ricer....its not ideal for any situation unless youre competatively racing a Race Car with a custom setup.
It doesn't make sense on the street or track so why bother?

For the record.. im running 17x8 215x40x17 and +30 offset. No rubbing issues at all.

Oh and dropped on h&r sports + koni yellows mid perch.

I wouldn't say ricer because your ride looks very clean, but yeah I would change the color, maybe paint them the same color as the car.

Ok, I see it and I CAN'T believe someone would ROLL like that. There is no way to turn that car without grinding and shredding that body to pieces. Your camber situation looks ridiculous to be honest, and that much of a drop would have a negative handling effect.
If you like to each his own but you can't tell me it really makes any sense to drive like that. Looks like your front lip has already told you that though......
Lower is not always better......
Try doing this with your car......
My Green Prelude rides on 400lbs@1.5-1.75 lower than stock on 225/50/15's
My Blue Prelude rides on Eibach/Koni combo@Full Stiff on 215/45/16's

The red rims are not something I would roll on the street, but for racing CLOWN SHOES are always fun. I am personally a fan of the Bright Yellow wheels!
