Default Need Help Quick

my car is leaking radiator fluid underneath the car, i just put in a koyo radiator in and tried the first time and missed the bottom hose totally, so fluid went everywhere, but the second time, i had someone help me, and it was PERFECTLY fine for about 5 hours, until i went to sleep...i woke up this morning and it was everywhere, wasnt all the fluid, but a good amount, anything yall might think it is? still the bottom hose?

also...what does white/clear smoke mean? - this car hasnt been cranked in about 3 months so i was wondering if it was just getting all the fluid back in the motor etc.

please help

What did you use on the hoses for the hose clamps. The factory comes with a wire spring clamp. I always get rid of those and get the hose clamps you can tighten with a screw driver. Both clamps should be screwdriver tightened.

I can't figure out how you could miss putting the lower hose on correctly, in the first place? My guess is that the hose is on the outlet, but not far enough for the clamp to really hold. After you let it sit, it let's it leak out.

In either case, you shouldn't be losing any radiator fluid if the hoses are new, the radiator is new and the clamps are all on and tight.

the hoses are actually REALLLLY old...clamps are new and koyo .. of course is new..the ONLY thing i can think of is that i ...
1. either missed a little bit of the hose to the radiator
2. put the hose on right, but clamped it to far back so its not directly clamping on the radiator/maybe just the hose itself
3. bad hoses, maybe a little cracked have a hole in it a bit.

i guess ill go check it, but idk...im getting frustrated

any more help?
