i have had my 96 civic hb for a year, and only had to do minimal work. the engine that it has is far from stock, and far from properly working now. i talked to the guy who built it and it has; cam, chip, intake, exhaust port/polished heads, shortened stroke, max bore knifebladed crank, and balance. i wanted to know if anyone thinks its worth the $1300 in parts for the rebuild, to make it have 225 wheel horse with the current tall gear racing tranny, (65mph 1st gear at 9k rpm) or if there is a good cheap swap i can do to get a reasonably sporty feel it doesnt need to be blisteringly fast i just want it to be faster than stock
