so my car dies out at about 2k but will still rev past that, my main relay clicks when it bogs out. has any one had this problem? I dont know what it could be im flashing iacv but I dont think thats why its messin up, I also am having a cylinder misfire. any ideas?

 

alright sorry, I was in a bit of a hurry when I wrote that. Here's the situation, I've got a 1988 crx dx with a b16 swap an mpfi my iacv is throwing a ecu code I've already discussed this and figured that I would still be able to run my car just fine. so I bolted up my header cat and a couple feet of pipe so i coulde drive it with out bending any valves. so I take her out and at about 2k revs the engine seems to die then i here the main relay click and it comes back on all with in about a second and i can continue to rev it past 2kthen it happens again around 4k.what could be the problem? also im throwing a code 73 misfire. from what i hear a misfire could be from the distributor an the guy that ran my wiring kept on changing up some plugs on the dizzy. is the misfire and cutting out due to a miswire in the dizzy harness or could it be cause from the iacv? I'm so confused on this one please I need help!
